freebie :: something's cooking!

After a hectic week finishing up designs for some upcoming BasicGrey rubons (it'll be their first full color line! you'll love it!), as well as a slew of projects for Paper Crafts Magazine I finally had a chance to catch up with some of my favorite blogs. Natalie's adorable recipe cards (a fantastic freebie download) got me in the mood for some fall cooking, so last night I made my husband's favorite Chicken Curry Soup. It's a recipe from our cute middle-eastern neighbor, and I thought I'd spread the love. If you give it a try let me know how it turns out! Natalie's template was a snap to use, I can't wait to start organizing all my recipes. Next I hope to get time to try out the latest challenge from Method Playground, it sounds so fun!

pretty in pink

I asked LilyKate what she wanted to wear this morning and her immediate answer was "pink". As a person who had an aversion to pink my entire life (right up until I found out I was expecting "little kate") this made me giggle. Just a little reminder of how much she has changed my life--for the better of course! Since I wear A LOT of pink now you'd never guess my dark past. A few weeks ago, on a total whim, I even painted my office pink... my poor husband. And he's going to be completely outnumbered very shortly, since we're expecting another baby girl on Halloween Day.
