freebie :: glitter accents
Thanks for all the nice feedback on my new digital scrapbooking kit, you can't imagine how rewarding it is to have people enjoy the artwork, and especially to see it used on scrapbook pages and projects that are so lovingly created. To say thanks for everyone's support i thought i'd do my first giveaway! How about a free Flutter kit?! To enter all you have to do is leave a comment on this post and I'll enlist the help of the random number generator to pick a winner to announce on Monday (June 23rd).
I wish I could post previews of all the fun things i've been busily working on... It's hard to keep new designs under wraps! Especially when my life has been utterly consumed by work projects over the last couple of months. My girls have probably forgotten what their mother even looks like! (and to think my sweet grandma told me that going into art was "the easy way out"... ummm, this week i'd have to strongly disagree... i do happen to be writing this post at 4 am, because it's the only time i can spare a moment for myself!). Fortunately things should be slowing down, and this time next month will be CHA, at which point my silence can be broken and i can't wait to introduce a few new paper lines and such. In the meantime, you can check out Flutter which is finally available at pcLayers! We had some technical difficulties and it took an extra week to launch, but i hope it was worth the wait. As promised in my last post, here is a freebie download to match. I thought a dragonfly would be welcome company to the butterflies, and the girly glitter flourish and "beautiful" accents should coordinate just lovely with the kit. enjoy!

all-a-flutter
May was a whirlwind. Terry graduated from law school on the 9th and is now studying for the state Bar exam, Eva turned 6 months and is eating "real" food, LilyKate got to meet her hero (Mickey Mouse), and I've been working like mad to wrap up a variety of paper lines for BasicGrey (I'm so lucky to get to work with such a stellar company!). So much to blog about but so little time! And to top it off I have a new digital scrapbooking kit, "flutter", releasing at pcLayers this wednesday (june 4th), so I just had to post a sneak peek. I'm always inspired by the world of fashion, so my color palette is heavy on yellow, green, and black which are so hot at the moment, and i threw in some pink accents and pretty butterflies to keep it girly (cause i'm a sucker for girly!). Aly did the incredible layout below, which will be available as a Quick Page in the pcLayers shoppe for just $.95! And in the coming week I'll do my best to post some fun coordinating freebies!
